- Q- Did you know in order to get marriage license you go to tax line?
A- Yes, indeed everything is related to tax papers. You go to tax line, fill the form on the computer, then you go back to same tax window, they tell you pay money ,they are ready to take it, and give you a number (it is like your serial number, it says on the paper there is no refund so if you change your mind, not to get merry money still goes to goverment. Whole process takes not more than five minutes.
It seems like you need more paper work in order to have a dog or any pet even, not for choosing the partner! So if you do not know how to use computer, you may not get married in Portland.
- Q- Why did you go to take wedding license application together?
A-
It is actually required. They want to make sure that you are a girl, and he is a boy ;)

A- We both like astronomical events. Rob is American Indian, he likes to celebrate earth events.
- Q- Where is the wedding?
A- At our flat downtown, 11am, ceramony will be held by Judge Linda Bergman. My witness will be Carl Goehner and, Rob's witness will be Laurentiu Popescu.

* What is henna night?
Traditionally (in Turkey), henna night or kına gecesi (kuh-NAH GE-je-see) is a women's party that usually takes place the night before the wedding.
The bride's closest friends and female family members gather to eat, dance, and sing.
They put henna on their hands. The stains it leaves on their hands for weeks afterwards tell everyone that they are a new bride, or have been to a close friend or family-member's wedding.
Traditionally, the following day, the bride will leave her father's house, where she has lived all her life, to live in her new husband's house.
* The vernal equinox marks the first day of the season of spring. The right ascension at the vernal equinox originally was in the constellation Aries and the point of crossing was known as the first point in Aries (now actually in Pisces because of precession Eric Weisstein's World of Physics). Equinoxes occur twice a year, when the tilt of the Earth's axis is pointing neither away from nor toward the Sun, causing the Sun to be located vertically above a point on the equator.
The name is derived from the Latin aequus (equal) and nox (night), because at the equinox the night and day are equally long. The term equinox can also be used in a wider sense, as the date (day) that such a passage happens.
The word is also used for the same event happening to other planets, and in setting up a celestial coordinate system.
At an equinox, the Sun is at one of two opposite points on the celestial sphere where the celestial equator (i.e., declination 0) and ecliptic intersect. These points of intersection are called equinoctial points—the vernal point and the autumnal point. By extension, the term equinox may be used to denote an equinoctial point.
An equinox happens each year at two specific moments in time (not a whole day) when the centre of the Sun can be observed to be vertically above the Earth's equator, occurring around March 20 or 21 and September 22 or 23 each year. Vernal Equinox Data: 2009 20 11:44 21 05:45 22 21:18 21 17:47
Here is a QuickTime movie illustrating the tilt of the Earth's equatorial plane relative to the Sun which is responsible for the seasons. The dates of maximum tilt of the Earth's equator correspond to the summer solstice and winter solstice, and the dates of zero tilt to the vernal equinox and autumnal equinox.
